Smoke out of dipstick
Web29 Mar 2011 · Check to make sure the dipstick is attatched properly. I had the rubber fall apart on a dipstick and it would not stay in no matter what I did. When I was checking the engine oil level right after I turn off the engine, I could see smoke coming out of the dipstick hole. Not too much, but definitely visible. I did some research and could not get a clear answer if that is normal.

Im not finding my vid, but i will tell you that there is some smoke coming out of the oil fill neck. When you do the test, sit the cap on the neck and see if it blows it off. Web21 Oct 2010 · If your CCV system is fully functional, and you have blow-by coming out the dipstick tube when everything else is closed, you have far more serious ring and cylinder wall issues and far more volume of blow-by than a trace of vapor would be the first sign.
