The first modification I'm going to be doing is upgrading the awful factory speakers, I've tried removing the door panel (interior and exterior) but it would appear the wheel arch is in the way of removing the exterior panel to get access to the speakers. WebAug 19, 2014 · Open your door, and look at where the mirror is attached to the door. There are two screws holding the black plastic in place. Remove these with the T20 bit and set them aside. Carefully pull the outer plastic away. Underneath, you will see three bolts with cup shaped washers underneath. Remove them with the T20 bit.

Then wiggle the cover around the handle till it loosens, this takes a bit the first time.
