WebWe say that H is weakly s p -permutable in G if G has a subnormal subgroup K such that G = HK, H s G ≤ K and H ∩ K: H s G is a p ′ -number, where HsG is the subgroup of H generated by all those subgroups of H which are s-permutable in G. WebWe say that a subgroup H of G is weakly σ -semipermutable in G if there exists a σ -permutable subgroup T of G such that HT is σ -permutable in G and H ∩ T ≤ H σ s G, where H σ s G is the subgroup of H generated by all those subgroups of H which are σ -semipermutable in G.

A subgroup H of G is said to be weakly σ-permutable in G if there exists a σ-subnormal subgroup T of G such that G = HT and H ∩ T ≤ HσG, where HσG is the subgroup of H generated by all those subgroups of H which are σ-permutable in G. Following [12], HσG is called σ-core of H.
