I have an 01 325CI and the top stuck going down near the end of the process. I have used the manual process behind the rear seat to try to put the top back up but the roof stops 6-8 inches from the windshield but will not go any farther, even using the hex key in the front. I cannot even force it down.

I then go back to the trunk and torque down on the mechanism using an Allen key and once I have it down I push the motor in and it locks it in place. VERY IMPORTANT!!!!
